From USA Today bestselling author J. Saman comes a brand new Kindle-melting romance about one of Boston's most notorious billionaire bachelors and the woman who flips his entire world upside down.
ABOUT THE BOOK
I've been dreading this for a year.
Okay, that's a lie. I've been dreading this reunion since we graduated high school ten years ago.
So why am I here, standing outside the door like the eternal wallflower I am?
I'd say it's because my younger sister browbeat me into it, but the truth is, I'm tired of being a nobody. Of never taking a risk with myself and my life.
And...well...maybe I'm also hoping to see him.
The tall, insanely gorgeous man walking my way now. Oliver Fritz is regarded as one Boston's sexiest doctors. I know him as the former god of our school. The one every girl wanted, and every guy wanted to be.
The one as loathsome to be here as I am.
That's when he makes the proposal I've always dreamed of. Only, this one is fake. On bended knee, he places a ring on my finger and proposes we brave this reunion together, with me as his fake fiancรฉe. But when our wild and steamy night ends in scandal, we're forced to make a deal.
He gives me what I need, and in return I stay his fake fiancรฉe, so he doesn't lose face with the media who love him or his sick mother. Should be easy, right? Just a few months pretending to be engaged to one of Boston's most notorious billionaire bachelors. What could go wrong?
Turns out everything.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Meet J. Saman
J. Saman is a USA Today bestselling author who is addicted to Diet Coke, sour candy, and indie rock. She swears way too much (especially after a glass of wine) and has a penchant for sarcasm (or so her husband and children like to tell her).
She's an admitted lover of second chance romances, love triangles, and the perfect amount of angst. She is best known for writing contemporary romance filled with smart, strong women, and sexy alphas who have a softer side--especially for their women.

This is my second book by this author. I read The Edge of Chaos and I really enjoyed it. So when I heard about this book and that it was about Rina's brothers, well I was excited to check it out.
Honestly the beginning was a bit slow going for me. I had a hard time connecting with the two main characters, Ollie and Amelia. They meet at a high school reunion. Amelia was the poor scholarship kid and Ollie was Mr Popular. He liked Amelia but was dating, Nora who ended up cheating on him with his former best friend. Now the two cheaters are married and having a baby, so feeling like he needs a way to needle his ex, he decides a fake engagement is the way to go with the girl he crushed on but who was also bullied in high school.
Amelia is an amazing character. She has had a very hard life but she is absolutely awesome. She graduated high school with Ollie and went off to college but after two years, her parents died leaving her with a six year old sister, Layla to take care off. Now 8 years later, Layla is this amazing teenager who is super smart and all she wants is for her sister to go to a private school but money is tight.
When Ollie's mom who is ill remembers Amelia and believes they are engaged, he gets her to agree to a fake engagement in exchange with him helping her sister get into the special school.
I absolutely adored Ollie and Amelia and his family from his brother Carter to his best friend Grace. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. If you want a fun, romantic and hot story, read this book because it was so much fun.
