This is the first book in a new series about a bunch of hockey players. But it is also connected to the author's previous Texting series. It features Shep and Denver from Text Me Baby One More Time and also Zach and Delia are in a few scenes.
This story is about Comet player, Collin Wright and he meets Harper in one of the most unusual ways I have read about in a romance. They lose contact with each other until he spies her on a dating app and lets just say thats when the games begin for these two.
This was a really fun story and I loved seeing the characters from the Texting Series. I hope more stories in the series will have glimpses of them as well.
Collin is a really awesome guy but he makes mistakes and I absolutely adored him because his heart in this entire book was in the right place. When the book starts he mentions that he blew things for his team the previous year and got arrested and beyond a casual mention I did not see them go into detail about what happened and I really wanted more info on that.
Harper was pretty amazing and I adored her bestie, Ryan and hope she is in a future book. Harper is an artist but she also has such a sweet and romantic heart. I really liked her a lot and a few times she kinda broke my heart but in the best kind of way,
I absolutely adored this book. It's so fun, flirty, romantic and amazing that I know I will be reading it again.
