This is a return to Jackson Harbor. I did read some of the books in that series and I read the story about Nic and Ethan. They are a big component in this story as Nic is Veronica's twin sister. If you read that book you know that V slept with her sisters then fiancee and got pregnant by him and he ends up not wanting anything to do with her or his son. Nic runs away and takes a job in Jackson Harbor and ends up as a nanny for Ethan and thats how Nic ends up married to Ethan. Having nowhere else to go V also ends up in Jackson Harbor and Nic ends up helping her out.

In this story V is working at an adventure company with Colton, who is her boss and also a close family friend to Ethan's family. They have an adversial relationship and there is a HUGE reason for that. But Colton does not know why V hates him so much. But he has a bit of a crush on her.

Trouble is coming for V as the cheating fiancee comes back into V and her sons life and i loved how Colton ends up having her back and helping her out, as her life gets even worse. I also love how he finally hears why V hates him and he really wants to change how he treated her.

This was an awesome second chance at romance with two characters that lets say have very complicated lives but who also find something extremely special with each other. It was absolutely wonderful and I adored both Colton and V.
