Please note this is not a stand alone book. Its more of a finale of the Eagle series, book 10 where we see the happily ever after and we see where and who is going onto the new series. It will then lead us into the Francisco Shockwaves Book 1 featuring Ryker who is introduced in this book.

The book starts off with my personal favorite Reece who if you have read the books in the series, is the rocker who is married to Austin, an Eagles player.

We then catch up with Julia, her family and Beckett of course who gets some exciting news. We also get to see what Matt and Bridget (Julia's parents) and how they feel about the big news.

Then we get to spend time with Dylan and Hailey too and yes we also get some time to see Murph and Scott. Becca is also in this book and we catch up with her and see her life with Scott and their family.

I loved reading the scenes with Scott and Brian and seeing that despite the years and retirements and coaching these two guys are still the best of friends. I also loved the scenes with Kinley and seeing how supportive she is of Brian.

Johnathan and Jill also are featured in the story and I loved seeing how they are besties with Hailey and Dylan.

We also get to see Mark and Laura and we get to see what big exciting things are happening with Mark and Laura. Plus Laura introduces the character of Ryker to the series. Ryker is single but has a 15 year old daughter who lives with her mom in California.

In this book we also get a glance of the new hockey team, the San Franscisco Shockwaves and it was fascinating seeing how a team starts out and in relation to how they get team members from the current stock of players.

I will warn you Ryker's story ends on a small cliff and I cannot wait to find out what his daughters mom wanted to tell him.
