Into the Tide is book one in the Cottonwood Cove series and is connected to the author's previous series Honey Mountain, In this book we get to see Wolf and Dylan tie the knot and we get to see all her siblings at the wedding. The Thomas sisters are cousins to Hugh Reynold and his family, who you will meet in this series.
This book stars Hugh Reynolds and his parents and siblings. He lives a quiet life in Cottonwood, which is a small town in the country. He grew up with Travis James as his best friend. Travis has a much younger sister, Lila and she has crushed her whole life on the very sexy, Hugh.
Lila is back from college and is taking a job in the city in the fall and wants one last summer to help get her father in treatment for alcoholism and to have a relaxing summer with all her best friends. Hugh is struggling as his restaurants keep him very busy, and hires Lila to help him streamline his business.
He has really noticed Lila now that she is home for the summer, but she is much younger than him and is the no-fly zone because his best friend is a bit overprotective of Lila's virtue. Meanwhile Lila is ready to LIVE and experience life and she has a list and guess who she asks to help her with her list? If that was not bad enough Hugh also ends up as her roomie and that's when the fun begins.
This was a sweet, hot and very sexy story with characters I truly grew to adore. The Reynolds family is one I really enjoyed getting to know and I cannot wait to read more in this series.
