This is Beau Cove's story. He lives in England and comes from a family of doctors. He is the restless brother and is a doctor. He works hard but he also likes to play.
Beau meets the Vivian at a coffee shop and they became companions as she joins him on walks. She is hiding out from the press, the public and her ex. She is a world famous American singer, think Taylor Swift and is in London in disguise. The only interaction she has is with Beau during her morning coffee run.
But her identity soon comes to light and to get the press off her back it is suggested that she find a fake boyfriend. Beau volunteers for the job and that's when the crazy begins. I guess you could say.
This was a very light read. Beau is a lot of fun. He has his issues, but he starts out as friends with Vivian, and he is totally there for her. I loved how his family is so there for him as well and that eventually leads to them being there for Vivian when she needs someone in her corner.
At times Beau's desire to run away from things frustrated me but at least it doesn't last long. I like that his family totally understands him and gets him to see the error of his ways. I love that Vivian totally understands him and bends a lot in her friendship and fake relationship with him. They very much have give and take relationship that was very equal, and I really enjoyed that about them.
