ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

This the last book in the series and the author saved the best for last. It is a fake relationship, but also besties that turn out to be more. It takes place in a quirky town named Redemption that has some really awesome characters and friends and family to both Wynn and Gage. It was a wonderful way for this series to end and I cannot wait for more from this author.

As all the books in this series stands alone. This story does as well. But I highly suggest you read this series and start with book 1 as all the stories and characters in this series are absolutely wonderful. There are a lot of characters throughout the series to love and so while the story stands alone, you might want a bit more in the back story as you meet the characters in this book.

If you are new to Redemption or can't remember who Wynn and Gage are, here is the scoop. Wynn works for Jace who is married to one of Wynn's friends and whose sister is also friends with Wynn. So has lived in the town three years as Jace gave her a huge raise to make the move. But she was engaged until about 4 months before the book begins, and she was betrayed and is kind of done with love. But her best friend is Gage.

Gage moved to town also about three years before. He is one of three partners in a security firm that he started with his best friend Laeth and Jensen. He also has a horrible ex and is pretty much done with love. All Gage and Wynn's friends have kind of paired them up because they are such great friends and also because they are the last of the singles.

These two are lots of fun. They made me laugh and giggle and sigh and they were just so hot and sexy together. I loved Wynn before this book, but I adore her now. She is always there for Gage, and he is always there for her. They have this awesome relationship, and I absolutely loved every second of this book.

I also loved that the author didn't have them lusting after each other while Wynn was in another relationship. Her feelings for Gage changed subtly but only after her breakup and Gage's feelings for her only begin after her breakup. I loved jealous Gage and overprotective Wynn.
