Before I begin the review here, I want to mention that this book is loosely connected to Before We Fall, which stars Tucker and Miranda. Miranda is Walker's sister, and this is Walker and Hanna's story. Hanna is Trevor and Liz Mayson's daughter.
Hanna is very strong willed, self-confident and a world traveler. To escape her overprotective dad, she moved to London and is a stewardess. She meets Walker when she vacations, and they have a fling. She just wants one night but Walker wants more. I truly loved his ingenuity in finding a way to make sure he doesn't lose Hanna.
This story features a bit of insta love/lust on Walker's side. He definitely falls fast and first. Hanna fights their connection, but Walker is so hot that she has a hard time resisting him.
There is a bit of intrigue and mystery in this story, and I really enjoyed this angle of the story. Walker is a marine diver, and I really found his career fascinating and I loved getting to meet his friends.
This is a fast read. It is very HOT, there are lots of sex scenes. I adored Hanna and her independence, and I loved how Walker chases her and knows what he wants and that is her.
