Worth the Shots by Heather M. Orgeron (Aiden and Veronica)

BLURB

HE’S COUNTRY MUSIC’S BAD BOY… COULD SHE BE THE GIRL TO FINALLY TAME HIM?

Born into a life of wealth and privilege, Veronica Vanderbilt has never wanted for anything. Aside from a man, that is…

Thanks to her overprotective father, Ronnie’s lovelife is non-existent.

Attending a prestigious music school in Nashville seems like the perfect solution. There, she can pursue her dreams and finally find someone to punch her V-card…

Enter Aiden Addams—a country rock god, whose reputation precedes him both on stage and in the bedroom. It’s hate at first sight, even if she does keep picturing him naked.

On the surface, the pair couldn’t be more different. But as it turns out, they each have something the other needs. She’s got the pristine image required to clean up his playboy rap. And he has the sexpertise to transform her into a temptress no man could resist.

But when the line between lust and love starts to blur, they’ll have to decide if risking their hearts is worth the shot…

AUTHOR BIO

Heather M. Orgeron is a Cajun girl with a big heart and a passion for romance. She married her high school sweetheart two months after graduation and her life has been a fairytale ever since. She’s the queen of her castle, reigning over five sons and one bossy little princess who has made it her mission in life to steal her Momma’s throne. When she’s not writing, you will find her hidden beneath mounds of laundry and piles of dirty dishes or locked in her tower (aka the bathroom) soaking in the tub with a good book. She’s always been an avid reader and has recently discovered a love for cultivating romantic stories of her own.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book has an age gap, fake romance, enemies to lovers and a virgin, and is a rock n roll romance. It stars rocker Aiden who is a big jerk, drinks a lot, does crazy things and is a very wild guy. He has a thing for his bands manager, roomie and bestie until she breaks his heart. He goes a little nuts and that is how Veronica/Cherry/Ronnie enters his life.

The beginning of the story I was not a fan off. I did not like Aiden and I kind of hated his crush on Annika and how she treats him as well. The way he treats women and even Ronnie at first, well had me skimming some pages. But once the fake romance kicks in, and Ronnie takes her wild rocker home for thanksgiving well thats when I started to really enjoy this romance and the characters. Ronnie's family is a hoot from her grandma to her father and I loved how they entertained Aiden.

There is a lot of sex scenes in this book. Some of them are just foreplay but there is a lot, especially in the beginning of the story. Aiden leads a wild rocker lifestyle and so if you read this book, be warned he is totally wild and doesn't always make the best decisions. I loved how he changes slowly when Ronnie enters his life.

While I did not love the beginning, I did love this book and Aiden and Veronica by the time I finished this book. It was a really fun and hot story.
