This is book 3 in the series and easily stands alone. Though I have read all the books in the series. This is the story of the younger Shaw brother, Tanner. It pairs him with a character from the previous book, Timberlynn who is the cousin of Kaylee.
This book takes place in Hamilton, Montana and Timberlynn is living in Atlanta at the start of this book but she has just turned 25, hates her job as a nurse and has just inherited her trust fund. So she decides to follow her dream of opening up a horse farm. She decides to head back to Montana and spend time in Montana and decide if thats where she wants her dream to take place.
This is a Christmas romance around the holidays. Timberlynn goes to Montana to spend time with her cousin.
She has a crush on Tanner who she met at her cousins wedding and he with her, but he is a rodeo performer so she is not sure he will be around.
Tanner has decided to quit rodeoing and wants to spend more time with his family Wen he gets home he finds out that they will both be living at his parents home and so starts this wonderfully romantic story.
I really loved the first two books in the series but the first two books in the series, featured heroes that were a bit broken by their pasts. But Tanner has had a wonderful life. He has a great family and great friends and now he is ready to settle down and grow up
Timberlynn on the other hand is the more broken one. Not by love but by her father. Her father is very cold and distant to her. She is looking for a family and a place to belong and wants to follow her heart and dreams. I absolutely adored this story. It was my absolute favorite in the series and I am looking forward to the next book.
