This was a really fun story in the Baker's Creek Billionaire Brothers series and this is book 5 of a six book series. This series is really best if read in order as many things happen in every book that carries forward into the next book.
This is Mills' story and it was more of a light read than the previous book. Mills is the former hockey player who is also a single dad to an adorable kid, Arden. In this book we also meet Hadley and she hates Baker Creek more than the Aldridges but after she ends up there after a bit of a social media scandal, she is jobless, homeless and finds that her mom and dad need help desperately.
Having no friends in town she ends up at the park one night which is how she meets Mills and Arden and they form a friendship. This is more of a friendship that turns to more story. She ends up needing a lot of help for herself and her family and in exchange she agrees to help with the Aldridge kids. I am not sure I would call her a nanny but more of a babysitter or childcare employee for the Aldridges.
Mills and Hadley have an insta connection which starts with friendship and leads them into more and thats all I am saying about the plot. I adored their relationship and their connection. This was a really fun story and I really enjoyed it and seeing all the previous couples again. After the heavyness of the last book I loved that this one was lighter and fun rather than so intense.
