 This was an awesome story, very different than I have read before but absolutely awesome, Though there were two parts I kinda hated. Its a romance taking place in Colorado between two college kids, Kason and Shay. Kason is also a snow boarder in the X Games and so it was interesting seeing a different sport in a romance book.

This story features some heavy issues:

- Abuse

- Addiction

- Bullying

- Dyslexia

In this story we meet science nerd, Shay who is super smart but very much a loner with no connections or family who is a freshman in college. She gets blessed by having an awesome roommate, Kendall and I adored that girl in this story. She ends up having Shay's back so many times that I wanted to high five her.

We also meet Kason, an entitled jerk and snow boarder and what he does to Shay at 20% of the book well I almost stopped reading it. He does it out of desperation because he needs Shay's help and she pretty much hates him. On her side she has such a great reason to hate his guts and he actually likes her right away but she treats him very coldly and so he does what he needs to, to get her help. 

After that I really started to like this book. After Kason is so horrible well he charms me and I actually started to like him and I fell hard for this book. Until the bully gets control and then I hated him again. 

Luckily he has an amazing bestie and a wonderful family and sister and they save that part of the story for me. And again he does some really awful things but he is really trying to help Shay and when he finally fights for her well I started to adore him again.

Kason is the star of the story. He has issues shall we say and well, meeting and knowing Shay saves him and really turns him around and I loved how the author made me love him as well.
