First: Provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”

Second: Provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

One of my favorite tropes is a secret baby or a surprise baby or a single mom or dad romance and so I was so excited to get my hands on this anthology.

There are 16 stories here, some of them I did not love. I am picky with my romances. I like fun and flirty stories. I don't like mafia or dark stories or cheating or even super young males with way older women. There is even a MM romance.

A majority of the stories I loved but some I had issues with. Here are my thoughts on the stories I read or why I couldn't finish them. I do think these stories range from author and stories and so there is something for everyone.

If you love to read and might not have several hours to read a novel but have a half hour or an hour, then these stories are perfectly sized for you. There are 16 short stories and they all feature one hot night with a 9 month consequence.

Here are my thoughts on each story:

The first story by Nikki Ash is Finding Prince Charming, who I have never read before was about a woman who works in a bordello and I was not a fan of that trope and the first scene kinda turned me off but if you like dark romance, you might enjoy this one.

Jacob Chance is My Ruin and he is an author I have read before and enjoyed but not the story in this anthology. It featured an 18 year old and a 28 year old older woman. It just felt like he was a victim of her seduction and turned me off. But if you like the whole Mrs Robinson, you might enjoy this story.

The story by Lacey Black, Quarterback Helper,  is more the type of story I enjoyed with a hot football player who is her twins friend and some hot times and it was flirty and fun. Ashton and Tate and Alex and Little Rowan were so great. I fell hard for the whole cast of characters.

Spark by Nicole Blanchard is a pretty good story but its a heavier story as it starts off during a Hurricane and it brings a sexy fireman who is also a baby daddy back into Avery's life.

The story, Calm the Storm, by Kelsey Clayton was on the whole very enjoyable. Its a bestfriends older brother and a rock star baby daddy with a big secret from the best friend and a very nasty ex in the story. It was well written and ended up loving it but I also felt the baby daddy, Harland was a chump too and did not like how he treated Emery after their night together. In a way I was happy that he missed the time with his son because he treated Emery so badly and went back with his ex right after their one night and even with her in the same house. My heart hurt for Emery. That said I did love the story, I just hated how Harland treated her  and truly I didnt feel he was good enough for her.

Truth and Lies by JD Hollyfields story is a new author for and its a bit of a sad story. Its very much a romeo and juliet type of story where the two main characters have always loved each other but their parents had other plans for each other. When they run into each other years later they both have missed so much. The only thing I did not like about this story was we never get Jake's side of things, the story is told from Willa's POV only.

Rebecca Jenshak's story, "And One," was a lot of fun. We get to go back to Valley U and hang out with Shaw and Sid and this story centers on graduating senior and basketball jock, John Datsun and his just found baby mama, Rylee. Two years later Rylee has found her baby daddy in John and she tells him right away. I loved how honest she is and I loved John's reaction too. This was a really fun story and I totally adored it.

Hideaway by CoraLee June was a bit violent. I am not a mafia fan but this one had a stalker and a hot mafia boss named Nico, an adorable Viviana and a very tough baby mama. Being a mafia story it was well done and a bit dramatic but well written.

A Piece of Us By Heidi McLaughlin is a military story reuinion, second chance at love story and I adored every second of it. It features Jack and Mitch who are traveling through to a wedding before they re-enlist. Jack has been in the military for ten years and they stop at a town he lived in for 6 months as a foster kid before he enlisted. While in town he looks up his ex, Charlotte and she has a surprise for him. This was a really sweet and wonderful story about family and finding lost love.

My Favorite Mistake by Lauren Runow is a new author for me and this was the only book in the series that features cheating.  I am not a fan of cheating on a spouse. In this case Michelle cheats on her husband Daniel with Travis, a guy she meets who is about to graduate with a doctorate. When she finds out she is pregnant she tries to tell him but can't find him. Then the story picks up six years later when Michelle gets the surprise of her life at a local doctors office and thats all I can say without ruining the story. Despite the cheating angle, this was a fun story.

Every Other Memory By Kaylee Ryan is my favorite in the entire series. It stars Trevin and Cadence who had only one night together with no names so when she has a baby she has no way to find him. Nine months later they find each other but in such an unexpected way. Its a very much fated story with insta love/lust and connected slightly to her Riggins series.

Between the Lines By Michaela Smeltzer is a second chance at love story with two tattoo shop owners who had only one night before Travis disappeared for over a year. Alba has no idea why he went away and for so long but he is back in town and she has to share her news with him. This was a really fun story and I adored Travis, Alba and baby Dahlia. Its also a hate to love/lust story.

Meant to Be By Jenika Snow is a story about two besties, Jameson and Lia who have been besties their whole lives and both love each it. It was a pretty simplistic story, He has to go away for a year and they have one last night. Then the story picks up 10 months later when he gets home. Its more of a soulmates forever type of story with a very happy ending.

Snapshot By Marley Valentine  was a fun story and we meet Blake who is 30 years old and on a blind photo shoot when she meets Rosario. This is a story about finding the one when you least expect it. And it is also has a slight military angle with a bit of insta love.

Doctor Daddy By Misty Walker - This is a MM romance I guess. I don't tend to read MM romances so I quit reading this one when I discovered this about the story. It stars Lance who is married to Maisy but who asks for a divorce and then moves away, ten months later we catch with him as he discovers he is gay and a baby daddy.

Miss B By K Webster is a brand new author for me. At the beginning it says that its a Taboo Treat and Brigs Ferry Bay Crossover. This is an older woman/younger man story and its a very taboo type of story. Kerry is Zane's teacher and almost 12 years older than him. She tries to resist and in this story he is the seducer but he is also her savior. While its not a typical story I would read I really enjoyed it. It was a really interesting and sweet story and Zane and Kerry were pretty great together.
