This was an awesome second chance at romance with a rockstar romance.
Cassidy is best friends with Dash's brothers fiancee. When they met for the first time she was getting over an ex and so she had one very hot night with Dash but then he took off and didn't even say good bye.
Dash meanwhile ended up embroiled in a paternity claim and he is pretty much done with one night stands and instead he wants Cassidy but she won't give him the time of day.
That is until his publicist suggests he and Cassidy pretend to date to help his reputation. Cassidy agrees to the plan to help out Dash's band and him while she waits for her new job to begin.
Dash sees this as his second chance and wants to convince her to give him a shot.
I really enjoyed this story. Both Dash and Cassidy are awesome characters and really good people. I loved them both a lot and enjoyed watching them get to know each other and fall for each other.
The next book will feature Aurora, Dash's newly discovered sister who is a single mom and I cannot wait for that story. In this book we get some hints on that story and it looks awesome.
