K.A. Linde is the USA Today bestselling author of the Avoiding Series, Wrights, and more than thirty other novels.
She has a Masters degree in political science from the University of Georgia, was the head campaign worker for the 2012 presidential campaign at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and served as the head coach of the Duke University dance team.
She loves reading fantasy novels, binge-watching Supernatural, traveling, and dancing in her spare time.
She currently lives in Lubbock, Texas, with her husband and two super-adorable puppies.

This story was told in several parts. It's an enemy to lover's romance between Hollin Abbey and Piper Medina who have always had an adversarial type of relationship, but also share common friends.
If you have been reading this series one of the previous books introduces Piper as she is Peyton's sister (the ballerina) who ended up engaged to Isaac who does some work with the Wright family, in "A Wright Christmas".
Piper works with her father and helps make wine at her family vineyards. At the start of the book, she is dating a longtime boyfriend and when she finds out her boyfriend is dreaming of marriage, she ends up dumping him.
Hollin is a cousin to the Wrights and he and his cousins who had previous books in the series have just started a brand-new vineyard and have decided to enter their wine in a major contest and guess who their rival is? Yep, its Piper and well that's when the fun begins in this story.
This story is told in separate parts, and I love this writing style that the author uses.
The first part gives us a view of Hollin and Pipers relationship. He crushes on her and she likes challenging him.
The second part is the first time that Piper really opens her eyes and sees who Hollin has grown into. It was adult Hollin meets adult Piper.
The third part of the story centers on Hollin wanting more from Piper and convincing her to give him a shot at something he has not done in many years, the whole dating thing.
The fourth part is the funnest part of the story as Piper and Hollins relationship heats up. Its sexy, hot and passionate and things get very HOT in this section.
The last part of the book was filled with betrayal on several fronts, upheaval and will Piper move on? What will her future be? And who wins that wine contest between the wineries? This was the drama section of the story and it brought this book to a very awesome conclusion.
