This is my first time reading this author and wow it was so GOOD!! It had romance, secret identities, a boss-employee relationship, evil exes, stalkers, danger and an age gap romance.
This is part of the Vi Keeland Cocky World and it has two groups of characters from those book. The main character in this story is Chloe who is Graham's daughter (Her mom is Genieve). In addition the male lead is Trey/Dimitrios who is close friends with Dex Truitt and his wife.
Chloe is about to start a new job in NYC and her best friend talks her into taking a small vacation to Greece. There she meets Trey and they enjoy one fun filled night before she disappears. Trey is just out of a divorce and was being blackmailed by his last assistant, so he is looking for just one night as well.
Then we catch up with Chloe in NYC at her new job and its not going well shall we say. Thats because she has an evil boss who is never happy and thats when she runs into Dex. And thats all I am spoiling.
This book is filled with drama but also lots of suspense and also hot scenes, romance and some awesome characters that I simply adored. I adored Chloe, who is one tough woman. She is definitely the daughter of Graham and it was awesome when we got glimpses of the Graham in her.
Chloe also has a stalker and it was a really sinister stalker. And I loved that I had to try and figure out who that was. Its also a very nasty and evil stalker, so one scene is very bloody shall we say. This book had many secrets and I loved that I never knew what would happen next in the story.
