Surrender to Me - Boggy Creek Valley #4 - by Kelly Elliott (Hunter and Bella)

Surrender to Me by Kelly Elliott is now live!

ABOUT THE BOOK

Arabella Adams was the one woman I would have laid my life down for, no matter the circumstance, because that's what you would do for your soulmate. But when she broke up with me our senior year of college—for no reason or explanation at all—my world as I knew it fell completely apart. My heart was instantly ripped from my chest...and it was a pain I felt in my very soul, and one I never truly recovered from.

Now, here I am, ten years later, and I've finally learned the real reason Bella pushed me away. So, I must prove to her that anything that happened in her past—our past—doesn't change the way I feel about her. After all, soulmates never stop loving each other, and even a decade later, I will make her see that I will protect her until the day I die.

Because you see, we promised one another we wouldn't keep secrets, wouldn't hide parts of ourselves that the other wouldn't understand. Except, well, I lied. Because the moment I find the person who took Bella from me all those years ago, I'm going to make him pay for every lost moment of the past ten years, and nothing—not even the fact I'm a cop—will stop me from inflicting the same level of pain on him that Arabella and me endured all this time.

Note to readers: Arabella endures trauma no woman should have to suffer. Respectfully, the author invites you to emotionally and mentally prepare before experiencing this book on your own terms, should you choose to do so.

This was my most anticipated read of the year. I have been wanting to read this story since book 1 in this series. It does standalone but I think to really love this story you should read the series from the beginning of the series. Did it live up to how excited I was to read it? YES, it was wonderful and amazing, and I absolutely adored the entire story. I was only sad when it ended because I wanted more.

This is the story of childhood kids who became teenagers and adults who were deeply in love. They ended up in a long-distance relationship when they went off to college, but they were engaged at the time. Bella ends up dropping out of college very suddenly running home and dumping Hunter. He does not take it well and he tries to get her to talk to him, but she closes him down for over ten years.

As time goes by, friends manage to drag Bella out and things get better for her and she starts spending time with her friends again and seeing Hunter around town. His heart has been hers always and so while he had flings, no one has come close to his heart and so he wants another shot with her.

If you have been reading this series, you know that someone hurt Bella in a very painful way while in college. In this story we finally get the full story, and the author did a wonderful job in getting Bella to the point where she could share it and where she was able to get the support, she needed to tell Hunter what happened to her.

At times I hurt for Bella and Hunter, but I loved every single second of their story. I also loved how her, and his friends are so there for both of them in every facet of this story.

This story was absolutely wonderful. It might be the authors best story ever. It was an amazing journey that Hunter and Bella took, and I am so happy I got a chance to watch Bella and Hunter find each other again.
