I am a huge fan of this author and I LOVE this series. It is full of awesome characters and interconnected characters from the authors other series and surprises along the way. The story could stand alone but you also might get lost as there are so many characters from this series and other series that it might be hard for new readers. But as a fan of all the different series I loved seeing how old characters were doing and seeing them interact.
This series is about a bunch of brothers whose father has died and required them to move to small town in Oregon that the father owned. They must live there for 18 months and never leave and about 6 months in they are able to leave for a day here or there. This is the 4th book in the series and is centered around Beacon, who is the rockstar son who has a best friend named Grace, a musician as well that he grew up with.
I previously had met Beacon and his best friend Grace and I really thought this was a simple friends to lovers story between two besties who also have music in common. But thats not at all what Beacon and Grace are at all. And I am not spoiling that surprise for you.
In this story we don't just meet Grace and Beacon and get in their heads we also meet Graces brothers, her parents, and Beacon's band mates and agent. And they really added to this whole story to make it absolutely fascinating.
If you are looking for angyst then this story has plenty of it. But it also has suspense, thrills, nail biting moments and even a few tears. It has requited and unrequited love, young lovers, second chance at romance and so much more.
Its a long story at 50 chapters but also a story you won't be able to put down so make sure you have plenty of time to read it. I loved that it starts at the beginning, when Beacon first hears about his fathers death and the will and continues on with his adventures with Grace in Oregon and his crazy family.
