This is a brand new author I have never read before so I had no idea what to expect. But it was absolutely awesome. I was extremely impressed with this story and the characters the author created and the plotline.
This story takes place in Manhattan in NYC and stars Soroyah, Graham, April and Genieve. It stars Anderson who works for Graham and a new character, Jurnee, but who is connected to Genieve and April thru her best friend Derrick who lives in Michigan. Jurnee is in NY to pitch an idea of starting her own coffee shop. Graham hears the idea and wants to do it and he assigns Anderson the job of working with her.
Anderson is a jerk and thats very apparent to Jurnee but she is in town for a few weeks and is trying her hand at internet dating and that makes Anderson try and get her to spend time with him instead. But Anderson is not who Jurnee thinks he is and he has to really prove that he is worthy of her spending time with him.
This was a wonderful story. Its on the tame side. Anderson and Jurnee have sex once in the story and we only hear about it after the fact. This is a pretty clean book considering Anderson and his friends are big playboys in the story. Its very much a Cinderella type of story in that Anderson chases after Jurnee alot and she is this everyday girl and he is somewhat a rich prince of a guy. I really enjoyed the plot, characters and story and I loved seeing Graham and Soroyah in the story.
