This is the story about Angela Morales, a newly divorced DJ at a very small town radio station and rocker Viktor Farrow, who is now out of rehab and wanting to make a come back.
She hates him because her ex was an alcoholic and he has a very bad rep as a manwhore, alcoholic and druggie before things went sideways for him. He is upset that he got booked at this small radio station rather than a more popular one.
The interview was super fun, for me as a reader, for Viktor who was thinking he would compliments rather than insults and all the listeners. During the show he challenges her to join him on tour to see how awesome he is,
And when she refuses he cannot stop thinking about her and thats when the book gets super fun. I laughed at all their insults and snark and giggled at both of them. This was a really fun story and I really enjoyed it
This story also deals with some big issues like anxiety, rape and assault by her ex, drug addiction, alcoholism, suicide. Despite all that it was a fun story and I enjoyed it.
