COCKY HERO CLUB
This is my first time reading this author and I am not sure what I thought about this story. On one hand I really liked the story and it had a suspense aspect I really enjoy. On the other hand I liked the heroine, Nola but she was kinda insane and she said just crazy things and at first it was cute and funny but as she got crazier it got too much and I started skimming her scenes.
The hero of this story is Kato Black. He is hot, sexy and he likes Nola a lot. She is just out of a bad boyfriend relationship and just got a job working for Chance and so they work together so she just wants to be friends who kiss.
He really was the bets of the story. I adored how he chases Nola and how he has secrets but eventually confesses all to her. He also s very protective and when she ends up with a stalker sorta, he tries hard to protect her. If you are a fan of Kato from Chance's original book by Vi Keeland (which I did not read), then you will love this book.
This story has some really interesting characters and plotline with suspense and a kidnapping thrown in there. There is one scene of heavy violence so beware of that. And if you love a bit of crazy heroines then you will enjoy Nola's antics.
