This is Grace's story. If you read the short Christmas story (A Merry Vested Wedding) which is a story that happens before this one, you know Grace struggled to get to Addie and Brayden's wedding and ended up showing up with her boss, Jaxson who she also secretly married.
This is her story from day one when she interviews for her law internship and meets Jaxson, her sexy, older boss and their entire relationship, thru the wedding and beyond. It was an awesome story and I absolutely adored it. It is told from dual POV so we also get to hear a lot of Jaxson's motivations but also there are spots he is silent in the story which made the suspense aspect of what really happened behind the scenes more exciting.
Its an awesome at work romance between the boss and his intern with a lot of awesome characters and we get to know the kids of the BAM and ABC and their friends and relatives and see into their love lives. I honestly adored this story and cannot wait for the next one.
We also get a lot of RICHARD time. Grace is his daughter and he is there for her all the time and he is an awesome dad even with his Richard type of moments. I loved how his love story with Katy was also shared in this story.
