 This is book 9 in the series but its the first time I have read this series or this author and well I absolutely loved it. It mostly takes place in Scotland and the prologue takes place in Vegas. 

The male lead in this story is Jack MacTaggart and he is a psychologist who is great at helping people but awful at helping himself. At times I struggled to understand him. He comes from this awesome family but he marries Autumn in Vegas, and then takes her to Scotland but refuses to ever let her meet his family. When they eventually divorce and have a one night stand and then she comes back to Scotland pregnant, well you'd think he would introduce her to his family but he instead hides her. Lets say he has LOTS of issues. 

Autumn was an awesome character. She is willing to explore life and love and take chances and well that made her this awesome character. She even seemed to really understand Jack's character. But her spontaneity at times worked against her at times with Jack, What I loved about this story is how she really learned and grew and really started to understand Jack in the things he didn't say.

This is very much a second chance at love with an ex romance that takes place in Scotland. Its about two people learning and growing and deciding what they want their future to be and an awesome family that drives them a bit CRAZY. It also had some really wonderful humor and I laughed along with the characters.
