With my mind made up, I swim back to shore and find Skye awake, digging her toes into the sand as the waves lap at her feet. Her creamy skin is a stark contrast to her bright-blue bikini that matches the ocean. Her strawberry-blonde hair catches in the light breeze blowing behind her, and she takes my breath away.
And I can’t miss the way her eyes light up when she sees me.
“Hey, you’re awake.” I shake my wet hair out like a dog and watch her squirm as droplets dance over her warm skin, then hold my hand out for her. “Wanna come in with me? The water’s perfect today.”
Skye plants her hands on her hips, looking every bit the cheerleader she once was. “You know I can’t swim, Hunt.”
Fuck it.
I lift her off her feet and carry her a few feet out.
“Oh my god. Put me down, Hunter. What the hell?” Her small fists pound against my shoulders, and from this position, my face is practically nestled between her perfectly plumped boobs being held by a thick blue tie around her neck and another behind her back.
“Okay, doc.” I lower her feet into the water but don’t let go. “I’ll put you down.”
She clings to my neck as soon as her feet touch the water. “No, wait . . . Don’t. Don’t put me down.” She wraps her legs around my waist as I move further into the ocean, refusing to loosen her grip even though I’m only waist-deep. I keep going until we’re deeper. Until the water covers both of us up to my chest, and I have to jump over a wave, getting Skye’s face wet. Making sure we’re deep enough so she can’t let go.
I keep one arm around her waist and push her wet hair away from her face.
“I’m going to kill you, Hunter,” she tells me with laughter lacing her voice.
“I’m going to kiss you, Skylar.”
She gasps, then her face transforms into a seductive smile as she runs a thumb along my cheek. “What are you waiting for?”

Lennox is Gabe and Hunter's uncle who is 6 years older than Hunter. He owns the football team, the New York Nighthawks.
Caleb is Hunter and Gabe and Lennox's cousin and is a talented marine biologist who lives in Miami. He is a grump and anti social and is a groomsman at the wedding.

Miles and Sadie grew up together but they were never friends, maybe frenemies. She was the good girl and he was the jock in high school. Now 8 years have gone by when meet again at Miles friends wedding to Sadie's cousins wedding. They have a fling and Miles wants more but Sadie feels like she is one hot mess and needs to figure things out for herself.

When Rylee was in high school she met a military guy thru a pen pal program, Jace and they have been writing to each other for 8 years. Jace is older than Rylee by 11 years and they have never met but have chatted on the phone a few times. What she doesn't know is that Jase a big surprise for her and that's all I am spilling on this really fun and romantic military pen pal story.
Hunter and Skylar by Bella Matthews
Hunter is the brother of the groom and is a sports agent. Skye is his best friend and also a busy doctor. They met in college and became buddies when his roommate broke her heart. Through the years Hunter has dated a lot but never found anyone special. Now both are single and are the wedding pretending to date so Hunter's mom doesn't fix him up. But its a whole week for Hunter to ask for more from Skye. This was a wonderful story. It moved fast and was super romantic.
Lottie and Luke by Frankie Love
Lottie is a good friend with Avery and she is 26 and Luke is Avery's uncle who is lonely but very successful and wealthy and he is double her age so this is an age gap romance. They both have HUGE crushes on each other even though they have not seen each other in 8 years. Now years later they spend time together and fall hard for each other. This was hot, age gap romance.
Caleb and Vivien by CM Steele
This is a fake romance with the boss, Caleb and his assistant, Vivien. These two are very attracted but kind of have a hate relationship. In addition he is her superior so its also a bit of a forbidden relationship. This was not my favorite story in this book but it was very hot.
