Marrying Hope - The Teager Family #3 - by Vikki Jay (Zach and Hope)

BLURB

A sinfully rich and wickedly hot businessman like Zach Teager has no business in my bland, rickety world.
Yet, he barges in like a storm, leaving everyone mesmerized by his charms.

Every evening I find him at my doorstep in the pretense of a silly promise he’s made to my son.
And let’s not talk about my boy, Ray who believes Zach is some sort of a Prince and maybe he is.
But not of my story.

Until events lead me to accept Zach’s insane proposal of a contract marriage.
He promises me everything. Care for my mom. A better future for my son. A loving group of family and friends.
Except one thing. Love.

And that’s okay.
I have full faith, I can never fall for someone as spontaneous and impulsive as him.
Yet, I do. Another stupid mistake to add in my long running list.
I fall for his stupid jokes, his crazy habits and most of all for him.

I fall in love with my husband and that’s one thing he didn’t promise me in our marriage vows.

AUTHOR BIO

In those early morning hours when I’m alone, my imaginations run wild and I pen down the life of people living in my head. All my life, I have lived in small towns in different parts of the world. The friendships, the camaraderie that people share around me inspired me to create Cherrywood and St. Peppers, the two towns where all my stories take place.

I write about beautiful coincidences, finding love in unexpected places and times, and fighting hard to get that happily ever after.

I reject to read, see, write anything that does not promise a HEA.
My characters are sexy yet shy, strong yet reserved…

I am married to a man whom I fell in love at an age of 15, proposed him at an age of 23 and married at an age of 30. He has no clue what I write or do when he is snoring quietly in the next room.

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for Zach's book and I was so excited to read it. There were things I loved and things I did not.

One of the things I did not like was the use of Vanessa Hibert in this book and we find out about her very twisted relationship with Zach. I did not enjoy her scenes at all and in fact it was so icky that it took a while for me to get over them and like Zach again.

Hope and her son Ray were awesome. I adored them. Hope was this amazing woman, mom and wow when you read her story, you will fall in love with her too.

I also adored Will, who is Zach's butler. He was a huge scene stealer and I loved how he was with both Hope and Ray and how close he got to them.

Rose and Zander who I adored and loved so much in Loving Rose were horrible in this story. The way they treated Hope and Zach made me not like them at all and I felt at times they were just selfish and mean and so different then in the previous books of this series.

Zach is a man in deep pain in this story. So much that he plans to never have children and he feels extremely dirty and that he is not a good man. His life changes when he meets Hope's son Ray and notices the strong resemblance to himself. He pretty much falls in love with Ray on the spot and wants to make sure that he is never hurt in the way that Zach was as a young child.

Hope is a young mom with no education, a beautiful 5 year old son, and a mom who is sick. She is one strong woman and I absolutely adored her. She meets Zach and agrees to him in her life because he is a great role model for her son. Zach and Ray become best friends and they really needed each other. They have this really beautfiul relationship. Hope is in pain to but she pushes on and perseveres and I love that she manages to teach Zach how to grow up and let the pain go and become the best version of himself.

I loved Kristy in this story and how she befriends Hope and supports her. I also loved seeing more of Zane and I cannot wait to read his story next.
