This was an awesome college, second chance romance between hockey player, Nash and his ex-girlfriend, Violet who ends up as an intern for the team in their senior year of college.
These two have loads of chemistry and we only see their romance in the prologue in their freshman year. The story then picks up in their senior year when they are no longer together and Vi ends up interning and working with Nash's hockey team at college.
I loved this story so much. They both really cared about each other so much so I could not put this book down as I loved learning why they broke up and how they could get their second chance with each other.
This is a bit of a forbidden romance as they both could get kicked out of school and the hockey program, especially Violet as there is a no fraternization clause for the team and the interns.
Nash has some really big secrets he kept and is still keeping from Violet. I loved her reaction when she finds out. And Nash is just such a sweetheart . My heart broke for him a little bit as the story progresses.
If you love second chance romances mixed with a forbidden relationship and a really good guy who is a bit broken then you will adore this romance. I cannot wait to read more in this series. It was such awesome story.
