The first book was about their courtship and marriage bargain and at the end a man from Charlotte's past in Paris showed up the day before her wedding to Perry. He is part of a family that is enemies with Perry's family and that ended the story.
I did not really consider it a cliff hanger, but I was excited to read this book because I couldn't wait to see how Charlotte and Perry dealt with this problem in their marriage plan.
This book is about their wedding and honeymoon and the beginning of their marriage. There is suspicion and love and lust in this book, and I ate it up. It was fun and hot and extremely passionate.
This book does end on a major cliff hanger so if you don't love cliffs you might want to wait until closer to when the third part is released. if you just want to know what happens next you will love this book, its romantic, fast paced and was a total nailbiter.
The next book is The Reckless Union and will be available in mid August.
