ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. This is a enemies to lovers, second chance romance with a single dad and his new hire employee and a teen struggling. Nate and Luna met when she was bartending out of Whitecap and she thought she would never see him again so they shared a very hot night and memory.

Now she discovers that Nate has moved to her town of Whitecap with his teenaged daughter, Evan and when Evan acts badly Luna ends up forcing him to hire her as his assistant and she won't press charges. To say they have a complicated relationship is an understatement.

But Luna is the best assistant and Evan is a pretty cool teen even though she is struggling. Luna is also very close to Nate's parents  and so avoiding each other is not possible. When Nate decides that Luna is worth risking his heart well he has to convince her to give him, Evan and love a shot.

This was an awesome story about second chances, small town life, a grumpy single dad who turns into a hot man who wants Luna's heart. Will she let love in or continue to fight her feelings? You will have to read to find out.

This was an awesome story and I love Nate, Luna, Evan and all the quirky characters I met in Whitecap. Its about finding your family of your heart and not always the ones you share blood with,
