ABOUT THE BOOK
We’ve all heard about the public image consultant brought in to fix the bad boy’s image. That’s not me.
Nope, quite the opposite. I’ve been hired—well, blackmailed is more like it—to be a bad influence on grumpy, gorgeous, humor-deprived billionaire Elliott Bradford. He’s just become the public face of his family’s company, Bradford Amusement Parks. Problem: The board is about to kick him to the curb because they think Elliott wouldn’t recognize fun if it bit him in the as… spiration.
And they’re not wrong. I can’t believe I have to spend the next three months trying to coax a smile out of Jerk-in-a-Box. But if I fail, my secret shenanigans will be brought to light and my parents will pay the price. Again.
So here I am, getting stuck on top of a midnight roller coaster ride with him… and letting him kiss my panic attack away. Signing us up for a mud run… and letting him wash the mud out of my hair in the shower… Yes, I’m that dedicated to my job.
But the more I get to know broody Elliott, the more I think there might actually be a beating heart hiding underneath that navy double-breasted jacket. And the closer I get to the end of my assignment, the more I want to be the girl who can make him smile for real.

This was a fun story with some awesome characters and a bit of a mystery. It takes place part time at an amusement park. If you are looking for an original story with some laughs and some quirky characters then this book you will love.
The main characters in this book are Elliot Bradford who runs a family amusement park company. His father is semi retired and he runs the family company with his best friends Cameron and Trevor and his assistant, Edith. He is a very busy and serious guy and amusement parks are about fun and he struggles with the fun part of his personality.
Trevor wants to help him so he blackmails influencer, Jillian into helping Elliot open some new amusement parks and make him into a fun guy, at least for the press and in social media. Jillian meanwhile comes from an ultra serious family that thinks she is a big flake and has way too much fun.
This is a story about two very opposite people working together for a common goal and finding out that their differences are not so wrong when you find the right person who supports you.
There is a side plot of another amusement park trying to buy Elliot's company and some sabotage. And also Lauren, Elliot's ex trying to cause some mischief along the way.
It was a fun story and light read and I adored Jillian who has causes that she cares about and a family that has a hard time seeing who she is. I also loved watching Elliot find himself and relax a little and let Jillian in.
