This is a story about two doctors who meet at a wedding and have a one night stand. Cameron is 43 and new in town and the best friend of the groom and a surgeon as well. He meets last minute brides maid at her cousins wedding, Chelsea is 28 and a resident at the local hospital.
These two have a connection but after the one night Chelsea discovers that Cam will be her supervisor at the hospital so she takes off right away. The hospital has a no fraternizing policy for anyone at the hospital and if anyone breaks it they can be fired.
So this is a bit of a forbidden romance as these two fight their connection. The story really centers on this policy and how its a bit crazy and sort of a witch hunt between the hospital director and a resident supervisor who has a thing for Cam.
It is a fast moving and well written story. Both characters work so well together in the operating room but they have to decide if love is worth this work opportunity. I really loved both Cam and Chelsea and I also understood how difficult a decision it was for them.
