This book was a really fun, and quirky story with a bit of a slow burn. Tamsen is a bit of a HUGE klutz and it happens quite a lot. But she has a great attitude about it and her friends accept it about her. When she gets into a predicament she ends up calling for help and thats how she meets Parker Kincaid.
And then she can't stop seeing him around town and it turns out her dad and his mom are involved. I didn't really see this as a forbidden romance. They don't even live with their parents and their parents even put them together to plan the wedding shower so I did not see it as a forbidden angle.
The real issue between Parker and Tamsen is that his mother is wealthy and Parker's isn't and so he is very suspicious of her father and this causes problems as how can you date someone when you can't trust them and think they are gold diggers.
If you want a slow burn, fun romance with lots of shenanigans them this is an awesome story and you will adore it.
