 ABOUT THE BOOK

Sasha

Both of my dads were always attentive and loving, but they were also smothering. Leaving for college caused them more anxiety than it caused me. I was excited about having freedom and laying the foundations for my future and my career.

Yeah, I have two of them, so you can imagine the bullying I had as a kid. But I wouldn’t change them for the world, it’s just that I needed to find my own place in it.

How’s this for irony: I tasted freedom, I touched it with my fingertips, then I got a sinus infection, hit by the car he was driving, and now he’s insisting on helping me recuperate in exchange for not telling my dads about it.

He didn’t need to do it, but when I said no, he proved he’d become an adult version of the irritating kid I remembered.

Jackson

I did my parents and their friends a favor and checked in on Sasha to make sure she was doing okay at college. I hadn’t forgotten the little girl who used to come over with her dads, I just hadn’t thought about her. It’s a totally different thing.

I wasn’t a jock, I was here for my education, and I had zero-tolerance for distractions. I got enough of those from my family, so this time at college was my own. So it was only meant to be that one visit, but now I can’t stop thinking about her.

Especially after I hit her with my car and now I’m looking after her. Except, that started as guilt, and now it’s something completely different.

This is book 2 in the series but easily stands alone. Its a story about two 20 year olds, Sasha and Jackson, that grew up together in Florida because their families were close but hadn't seen each other in years. They end up at the same college in Arizona and Jackson's mom asks him to make sure Sasha is doing well and well thats when the fun begins.

If you have read this author before then you know she loves to torture her men and Jackson Townsend-Rossi is definitely tortured in this story but in only the best way. I am not spoiling the how or the why so you can enjoy reading it yourself.

It ends up with these two as roomies and Jackson taking care of her. Then his family descends and the hijinks and shenanigans begin.

This was an awesome story. I found the hospital trip a bit much and went on a bit long but after they start living together and are there for each other as they get to know each other, well thats when I fell hard for this couple and the story.

This story is a long one but thats because we get to see their future from meeting, seeing their very special relationship and all the swoony and romantic moments. And then their future. This is an awesome story and extremely romantic.

There is a bit of a bully angle to this story and a tiny bit of violence. It takes place in both Arizona and Florida and I loved seeing the whole Townsend family and their friends and family coming out to help them.

If you love laughter with your romances and friends to lovers and a goofy but fun family then you will absolutely adore this story.
