 I have read this author before but not for many years and not this series at all. But this book sounded so good and a bit different from normal sports romances so I was excited to read it and let me tell you it was absolutely different and has not much in sports in it but it was a page turner and so romantic that I could not put it down and even when it ended I was ready to re-read because it was that terrific.

It starts off with a bang when the hero, Olivier Durand is in his car and there is a terrible accident ahead. He decides to

 help out and thats when he finds a woman trapped in a car thats caught on fire. Olivier is the owners of a hockey team and is very wealthy at age 41 and is a single dad to a 16-year old daughter. The woman trapped is Daphne Barrington, age 31 and who comes from a wealthy and political family but  works to help the homeless.

The world falls in love with a these two and so they get a lot of press after the accident. They eventually meet and Olivier falls hard but Daphne is just out of a bad romance and wants time to think about it and get to know Olivier. 

This is pretty much an insta-love/lust story except that each has their own reasons for holding back and the author did a great job bringing these two characters to life and showing us how no matter how much money you have, no ones life is perfect and we all have to work for our bit of happiness.
