This is my first time I have read this author and while this is the last book in the series and I have no read any, I was never lost and I was totally hooked and wanted to read more on the characters in this series.
This is an age gap romance (Scott is 44 and Noelle is 34) but also a hockey romance and also a second chance romance for Noelle and Scott. Scott owns the Boston Hawks and Noelle's father owns the NY Sharks. They have met many times over the years and even shared a kiss but it never went anywhere because her father hates Scott a lot. Scott has always been attracted to her but things never ever went beyond a kiss.
All this changes when Noelle goes after her dreams by opening a bakery in NY and when it does well Scott convinces her to open one in Boston. When she comes to town, he goes after her because he thinks she could be his ONE. But there is still her father and his team between these two. Can it really work if her father hates him?
I loved this story so much. It was hot, sweet, fun and so romantic. I adored both main characters and I wanted it to work for them, but they had many stumbling blocks to get over to be able to be together. They both are lonely and want a family and I loved how they were together and watching them find each other and maybe forever.
