Posting “certain types” of pictures online is never a good idea. Especially when you’re the star player of your college football team.
But I did it anyway.
Never did I think that by posting my pictures online that I would find someone that I would actually be interested in.
But I did.
I saw her pictures, she commented on mine and the conversations were nonstop. She was the girl of my dreams and I wanted to meet her. Who knew that the girl of my dreams was the shy girl that sat next to me all semester.
Now that I know who she is, I want my shot. Only if she would give it to me. Every chance she gets I get turned down, but I'm not giving up.
I will show her that she is worth it, even if she may not think so.

This was a wonderful college romance story about two people hurt by previous relationships who find each other online and then in person and fall for each other as they become friends and then more.
This story takes place in Seaside, in Northern California. It stars football player, Hunter who comes back to school after vacation and finds out his friend and teammate has been cheating with his current girlfriend. Fellow college student and Latino, Selena also has been dumped by a guy she was seeing casually.
This was a mostly fun romance taking place at college featuring secret online friends who end up living in the same town, going to the same school and even taking a class together and becoming friends while not knowing they are online friends either. I really loved this aspect of the story.
This story had its serious issue moments as well. The beginning of the books gives a warning that there is a topic of sexual abuse in the story. It happens when Selena is extremely young, and she never tells anyone besides her best friend. But it also really affects her, and I loved when she finally confronts it and shares it with her family.
There is also a bit of bullying as the cheating ex does some really bullyish type of behavior to Selena. I really wanted her to suffer much more than she did for what she did.
The ending was awesome, and I loved Selena and Hunter and I loved watching them figure out what they wanted their future to be and make it happen, alone and together. These two made a really awesome couple and I adored watching them become friends and then fall for each other.
