This is the third book I have read in this series. Each story stands alone but also we get to know this family better in each book. This story starred Dr Landon Fitz, who is cardiologist, single dad and widower. While he is a doctor, medicine plays no part in this story. Its more centered on Landon's personal life and daughter, Stella and his new neighbor, Elle.
This book at times was very painful to read. Elle is newly divorced a wonderful woman, teacher and person. She comes from the worst set of parents and sister and her ex was a piece of work. Let's say that she had a very lucky getaway.
She meets Landon and makes him feel for the first time in 9 years and its a very painful process for him. We experience the pain with him and this makes the story very angysty and also created a hate to love type of relationship between him and Elle. The author did an amazing job as we watch Landon open his eyes, heart and start living again.
His daughter Stella is an awesome teen at age 13 and she is big part of him finding his heart and opening it to Elle. I loved this story so much and cannot wait for Landon's twin brother Luc's story next.
