This is the start of a new series and I am so excited about it. Its a new hockey team, Lauderdale Knights, starting in Fort Lauderdale South Florida and its owned by Remington Knight (his story is told in Knight Before Christmas).
This story is about Vaughn a player on the team and it starts opening night when he hits a huge fan, Juliet with a puck. Juliet comes from a huge family of Italians and she is engaged.
While it might look like a love triangle there is no triangle at all. When V and Juliet meet they have this pretty strong mutual connection and while she is engaged V respects that. When she is free they start dating. There is no cheating at all in this story.
Some faces on the new team are from the authors other series, Las Vegas Sidewinders and the Alaska Blizzard team are Zakk, Toli (the team coach), Ryder and I am sure more will pop up. It was fun watching them interact with the players on the new team. I also loved seeing the women, Tiff, Tessa, and Peyton make appearances as well.
