NOW ON SALE! Faking The Game by Claudia Burgoa

ABOUT THE BOOK

From USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR Claudia Burgoa comes this page-turner fake-relationship-office romance.

What happens when the guy who’s afraid of love finds himself in it?

Know what they say about never mixing business with pleasure? Yeah, no.
The one about never sleeping with your boss?
I ignored it too.
I blame Aslan Spearman, the boss.
He’s a wealthy playboy who doesn’t believe in happily ever after.
He’s demanding, a workaholic, and cynical.
He’d rather have a root canal than be in a romantic relationship.
Do you want to know a secret? I think he’s afraid of love.
So when he has to go to the Spearman family reunion in Hawaii with his girlfriend, he’s in big trouble.
That’s what happens when you lie to your family about your relationship status.
It wasn’t important—until now.
What does he do?
He comes to me, his VP of Operations and right hand for assistance.
After all, I’m a problem solver.
Except my personal life is complete chaos.
So we make a deal. I’ll be his girlfriend if he helps me solve my problems.
It’s a win-win situation, right?
I mean, how hard can it be?
It’s not like I plan to fall in love.

I LOVED this book so much. I also love the Spearman family SO much and I loved meeting a different part of the Spearman family. This is book 1 in the series of books about Paradise Bay, and the Spearman family who live near San Franscisco.

Aslan is a wealthy man who runs his company with his VP, Keaton. What he doesn't know is that she is beyond broke and helping her mother and sister out. But she also is leaving town in a few months.

They are partners at work and also are best friends which I absolutely adore. Aslan agrees to help her out and she agrees to help him out when he has  family reunion and she agrees to be his pretend girlfriend. But is it really fake?

This was such an awesome story. It gave me all the feels, was so romantic and it also made me laugh at the Spearman family antics and I adored the romance between Aslan and Keaton. But it also had its serious moments as being as broke as Keaton was, was not a joke and I felt so bad for her and her sister. But I loved how supportive Aslan was of Keaton and how he adores her.

Keaton  is a character who has suffered and really given up her life for her mother and sister and none of them really give it back to her. But she loves them even if they treat her horribly. I loved that the Spearman family and Aslan really take her in, love her and support her. I loved watching her open her heart to Aslan and how in sync she is with him.

This is definitely one of my new favorite stories by this author and I cannot wait to read more about Aslan's brothers and sisters.

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
