This is book 3 in the series and its honestly my favorite. It also easily stands alone though I would suggest you read the series because it's a wonderful series.
This is Orion and his Ladybird/Birdie/Frankie story. Its a romance with his favorite stripper who is also a single mom and he has no idea its her. Frankie is also his roommate and best friends with his sister Stella. Just based on that description of the book, this book seemed like a fun romp filled with surprise identities and lots of hot times.
This book was awesome. I absolutely adored it. In the story we are introduced to Orion when he gets kicked out of his apartment by his business partner and friend when his girlfriend moves in. He ends up needing a place to stay so his invites him over. The sister is Stella and she plays a significant part in this book. Her story was told in the second book in the series, Dirty Little Secret.
Stella invites her classmate, Frankie and her son, Maverick to move in with her and Orion. Frankie and Orion's first meet was so awesome I absolutely loved it so much.
Orion has a huge crush/lust for a stripper named Ladybird and what he does know for a majority of this book is that it is Frankie. I loved the way that Frankie tells him. I also love that while he crushes on Ladybird, its never more than that and as he falls for Frankie, she becomes number one in his heart. And his relationship with Maverick really made me adore him so much.
This was such a wonderful story filled with love, acceptance, friendship and a hot and sweet and sexy romance between two people who are very much alone, and it was beautiful to see them find each other and form their own family.
