This book was absolutely awesome. I adored it so much. It was such an awesome story with characters I adored and scenes that made me laugh and a hero and heroine who gave me all the feels.

When I first saw this description of this book, I thought it was more a bullying in high school type of story and then later making up.  But it so wasn't. It's more of an insta love in high school type of romance and then years later them getting a second chance when they are made guardians of their best friends' children.

Cole and Hailey knew each other in high school. He had a HUGE crush on her. It was so bad that he had a hard time talking with her. She wasn't sure what she thought about him but because of what happened on their one date, she ended up having to leave town and not finish her senior year with her best friend. 

Now years later they are forced together when they found out their best friends have died and left them both their children. But both feel they are very bad choices as parents but hope to find family members that would be better fits for the two young girls. Meanwhile they both come to town to spend time with the kids and celebrate the holiday season. 

This is a second chance romance during the holiday season with two adorable little girls, age 6 and 3 who have lost their parents and are struggling to understand what happened. They bring Hailey and Cole together and remind them what is really important in life. 

Cole is very wealthy with a very famous father but the one thing he never had was a family and that is what he finds in this book with Hailey and the two little girls. Hailey has always yearned for family, security and a place to call her own. When she comes to town she finds love, friendship, family and a town that will make her finally feel like she belongs.

This was an absolutely awesome story and such a perfect read during the holidays. I loved how not only did the two girls, Hailey and Cole find a family but also Cole's dad found something he never had before.
