ABOUT THE BOOK

USA TODAY Bestselling authors Claudia Burgoa and Grahame Claire bring you an enchanting Best Friend’s Little Sister holiday romance filled with sarcasm, love, and mistletoes.

I finally landed my dream job.

No one told me my childhood crush came with it.

Theo Foster, my brother’s best friend.

The famous billionaire playboy, race car driver, and my long-time frenemy.

Now I’m forced to see him every day.

And that childhood crush…

It hasn’t gone anywhere.

Lucky for me, Theo Foster isn't one to stick around and he'll be out of Winter Valley in no time.

If only he'd stop being all flirty with me.

He isn't supposed to be all swoony and romantic.

And I’m not supposed to flirt back.

But a few caresses and kisses shouldn’t matter.

Or do they?

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a fun story that is part 3 in a series, but I have not read the other books and I felt this book easily stood alone. It is a fairly fast read as it's a novella and takes place mostly in a small town.

It stars Elisse and her brother and sister. Pretty much her siblings rely on her a lot, and she feels pulled in a million different directions. But her dream is to work on cars and her brother gives her a shot BUT she has to work alongside Theo who is her brother's bestie but also a guy she once crushed on but now dislikes a lot.

Theo knows that Elisse is very much off limits, but he lusts after her a lot. She also seems to hate him, and he wants her to not hate him, so he sets to charm her as they work on his race car together.

This was a fun hate to love romance with insta lust/love and a brother who does not want his sister and bestie to ride off into the sunset together. He is the biggest obstacle for these two and make it a fun forbidden type of romance.

I enjoyed reading this story, but I felt I never really connected with the characters. Theo and Elisse were interesting, and I liked them, but I also didn't feel like I got to know them very well in this story and I never fell in love with them as a couple. Still, this was a fun romance, and I did enjoy reading this story. I might have connected more to them if it was a longer story and I got to see more of them together or as a couple.
