This is a second chance, standalone story featuring a billionaire, wine making family and hockey player with a one-night stand, not so secret marriage and exes causing trouble.
This is a story in the Paradise Bay series. It stands alone well within that series but there was info thrown around and some characters and their connections that at times I felt I was missing key info. I would have loved if the author mentioned where I could find more info on the characters in this book at the end so I could find their stories.
In this book we get Caspian who is the hockey playing brother. He loves Hockey and plays it as a way to honor and remember his now deceased dad who passed away when he was 15. This is book 4 in the series and the first book about the younger and non-triplet brother.
This story is told in two different time periods. The first tells the story how Cas meets this woman named Rye during the offseason at his family's winery. Rye has just graduated from Vet School and is heading to her new job when they share one day and a very hot night.
The story then picks up almost three years later and Rye and Cas have lost contact but also seen each other a few times recently as she is casually dating a player on another hockey team.
Things go a bit haywire when they both are in Vegas, and she learns some of her boyfriend's secrets and Cas comforts her and things end with a secret wedding that's not so secret.
This was a fun and very romantic story about second chance love, soulmates, crazy families, and a bit of insta love/lust.
