PLAYING OFFSIDES - Wyncote Wolves #3- by Cali Melle (Aspen and Cameron)

ABOUT THE BOOK

Cameron
Two things I never thought I’d say:
My entire future is about to go up in flames.
And Aspen Rossi is my ticket to keeping my scholarship.
The only problem…She hates me.

Aspen
The last thing that I want to be doing is tutoring Cameron Sawyer.
When he asked for my help, I tried to resist but tutoring another student would look good on my application for med school.
That’s all he is—a means to an end.
However, the more time that we spend together, the harder it is to ignore his charm.
Cam is starting to grow on me, but I can’t get involved with him.
We want two different things out of life. We’re on two separate paths…

Our dreams can’t coexist and neither can our hearts. Even if they keep playing offsides.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is book 3 in the series and I am really loving this series so much. I did not read the first book, but I read this book and the second book and have loved both of them so much.

This is a college hockey romance book. It's a tutoring storyline with the hot campus jock and the school's smartest nerd. In this story we meet Cameron who is the star player, and he is flunking biology. If he continues doing badly, he will not be able to play and lose his scholarship.

He is desperate and he knows Aspen from his class, but they have not even said two words to each other. He pretty much begs and pleads with her to help him and after he begs so much, she agrees to help him because she has a very soft heart.

Over time they become friends sort of secretly. He hides that he needs help from his fellow teammates. She has a few friends from school, but she is also hiding a secret about herself, and I loved that Cam is the first person she confesses it to.

This was an angsty romance that's filled with lots of hearts and these two really are there for each other. They don't see that they are falling for each other but we the audience sees it and I absolutely adored these two together. They are very opposite people but together they have something really special, and I loved watching them be there for each other.
