I LOVE this series so much but its one that the author writes for every year or more. But Brenna and Rye's story is one I have been waiting on for YEARS!! And it was such a great story. Its a rock star romance but also a working relationship romance and also one with two people who are sort of enemies that end up in a romance together. And it was absolutely worth the wait.

Rocker, Killian is Brenna's cousin and she is in charge of publicity for the rock group Kill John. Rye is their Bassist but he is also is the guy that Brenna had a crush on at 16 until he broke her heart and never even knew it. Lets just say from that point on they had a very complicated friendenemy relationship through the years.

When Rye overhears a conversation Brenna has, he decides to try and get his one chance with her. And well I adored Rye and how hard he gets out of his comfort zone to show Brenna that he sees and likes her. Brenna has to learn how to let the past go and see who she really is through Rye's eyes. She is one tough cookie and I adored how Rye broke her down to give him his shot with her.

This story was very complicated and I can understand why it took the author so long to write it. Rye and Brenna broke my heart at times but also made me feel their passion for each other.
