Rent-A Husband by Everly Ashton

ABOUT THE BOOK

When Camila Wright hired me to fix a few things around her house I didn’t expect to find myself swindled into a fake relationship with her.

Sure, my company is called Rent-A Husband but that’s not what people actually hire me for.

But when I find her elbow deep in a tub of ice cream with tears running down her face how can I turn down her proposition?

Suddenly a fake relationship becomes a fake marriage that we have to keep up all summer. Which is all fine and good except for the part where we both agreed not to let anything ‘real’ creep into our arrangement.

But then certain parts of me start to crave certain parts of her and things become even more complicated because we both have our own reasons for wanting what we have to remain make-believe only.

Meet Everly Ashton
Everly Ashton is a USA Today Bestselling Author who wanted to try something a little different under a new name. She loves brooding heroes, spunky heroines, and happily ever afters. You can usually find her with a Kindle in one hand and a cup of caffeine in the other. And because she’s using a pseudonym she can’t tell you much more than that. ;)

This is a new series by the author and it will be three books as each book features a different brother. This is Lucas' book but other books will follow his brothers, Travis and Josh.

The Abbott brothers own the company Rent a Husband where they offer handymen services to women or men and one Friday night Camila ends up calling them for a plumbing emergency.

The brothers were all brought up by their beloved grandparents and are trying to send them on a cruise and so they each are trying to make extra money. When Lucas ends up helping Camila out, she ends up hiring him to redo her bathroom and so a friendship and work relationship is formed.

Camila is just out of a bad relationship and she also has an engaged friend and when she and her ex get invited to wedding stuff, she doesn't want to go single and so she needs a rent a husband and Lucas volunteers his services.

This book was very awesome. I laughed so hard during some scenes, my family thought I was a bit insane. But I love this authors sense of humor. I also loved how strong and independent Camila is and I adored when she stands up to her ex and his new girlfriend. This was an awesome story and I cannot wait to read more in the series.
