ABOUT THE BOOK
Some secrets have a way of coming back and haunting us, no matter how much we try to bury them.
Amelia
Never make the same mistake twice is my motto.
After being left in the dust of an old pickup truck, I promised that I would take care of myself
and never trust another man with a sexy smirk and cowboy boots.
Then he showed up, and he’s everywhere I turn. He's at the barn, he's at the bar, and now, he's my roommate.
He makes me want things I shouldn’t
Asher
I grew up in foster care, and on my eighteenth birthday, I was set free.
I spent years coasting from town to town.
Staying wasn’t a part of my plan and neither was love, especially with someone off limits.
This was all supposed to be temporary.
I’m just hoping my secret doesn’t destroy the only family I’ve ever known.
Buried secrets are never buried for long.

Meet Natasha Madison
When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...

This is Amelia's story. She is the daughter of Kallie and Jacob and Ethan's younger half sister. She is paired off in this book with Asher who is a former foster kid and drifter, who works at the farm with her grandparents and siblings and cousins.
Amelia wants to run her aunt Savanna's bar and also helps out at the farm as an office manager. She is very independent, maybe too much. But things start going wrong at the bar and ranch and Asher is there to help out. When his place burns down, he becomes her reluctant roomie and these two have huge crushes on each other.
But they both have some big secrets. And Asher and Amelia drive each other a bit crazy but in the best way. The secrets that Asher and Amelia hide are really HUGE. While I saw Amelia's coming, Asher's was really awesome. His secret changes everyones life and brings back a character from the parents books. Thats all I can say so I don't spoil anything.
This was a really awesome story. Lots of mishaps and things happening and I enjoyed every moment of it. I am iffy if this story stands alone. For readers to really understand who is who and the connections to each other, I really think you have to read this entire series at least the parents books and Ethan's.
