The text just said to do something crazy. I don’t think that included having sex with a complete stranger only half an hour after meeting him. I am a complete idiot! Not only did I have sex with a random guy, he wasn’t a stranger. He’s a world renowned soccer player that I should have recognized the instant I saw him. The problem is, he’s amazing. He’s sexy, athletic, funny and that accent. Holy cow! I should leave him alone, but how can I not crave him with every bone of my being?
Claire Lloyd is the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. I don’t believe in love at first sight. Well, I didn’t until I saw Claire walking across campus. I really should be ashamed of what I did. I introduced myself as Alex, not the famous Xander Ross she might have recognized. I thought maybe if I had her once, I’d be able to let her go. But it’s Claire. No man in his right mind could let her go, now I just have to convince her we’re worth the effort.
Avery Samson grew up on a ranch outside of a small west Texas town. Since she could remember, she’s had her face stuck in a book. She left ranch life to attend Texas Christian University where she studied History and English receiving her Bachelor’s degree.

This is only my second book that I have read from this series and I really loved the authors writing and the characters and these friends are just that wonderful. This is pretty much an instalust/love romance between a college student and famous Soccer player.
The story begins in Oregon where college student Claire meets a hot guy named Alex and they have a very hot experience at the library but then she disappears. Claire is a soccer college player in Texas and was just visiting family. Alex was in town as he travels to different areas to teach soccer clinics to kids.
When Claire disappears he looks everywhere for her but only has a first name. Until.... and I am not spoiling anymore of this story because it was such an awesome story. Alex falls hard and fast but while he wants Claire desperately she feels that she wants to get to know who he is inside. Its quite a challenge when he lives in Los Angeles and she lives in Texas.
But the heart wants what the heart wants and Alex comes up with a plan until...... I am not spoiling that either. This story had great friends, love, heartbreak, a scottish dream guy and his dream girl and loving friends and family.
There are two trigger warnings I feel I need to mention, there is a miscarriage in this story and there also is a character who deals with depression. This was an awesome story and it easily stands alone in the series but is book 4 in the series.
