Meet Prescott Lane
Prescott Lane is the USA TODAY best-selling author of ALL MY LIFE. She's written several other romance books with strong heroines and swoon-worthy heroes. She is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, and holds a degree in sociology and an MSW from Tulane University.
She married her college sweetheart, and they currently live in New Orleans with their two children and two crazy dogs. Prescott started writing at the age of five, and sold her first story about a talking turtle to her father for a quarter. She later turned to writing romance novels because there aren't enough happily ever afters in real life.

When I started this book I almost stopped reading it, because Paige comes off as a call girl. Someone who dates Slade's father for his money and is even grossed out by him. But she has a child so she is doing it to feed her baby Finn. But this book was so well written and I could not put this book down and before I knew it I was in love with Slade, Finn and Paige.
Slade is the son of the man Paige contemplates being with for money. And he knows how bad his dad is and so he wants to save her. But when he does that he is also intrigued by her and so starts their relationship when he offers her and Finn a safe place to live, a new job and a car to use.
Slade is 30 and Paige is just 20 but she is so mature. That at times the age difference did not matter in this book. She is one awesome character and one tough cookie and a heroine I absolutely adored. Slade didn't just fall in love with her I did too.
I did feel the I love you's happened very fast. This is not a slow burn romance but they also don't get together very easily and as the story progresses you start to understand why.
Paige has a really HUGE secret but honestly I kinda figured it out from the beginning but I also loved reading the little clues as I started to see that I was right in my thoughts. I think if you are a mom, you will figure it out but it still was this very awesome book.
I would categorize this as a really fun book and light reading. It has some heavier topics, but they are more in the past than in the books current time frame. It was a bit of a fairytale, in that the handsome and rich prince falls for the poor, single mom. But I really loved it.
